Pico 4 Enterprise Headset Announced. The organisation joins a number of manufacturers in producing an all-in-one device targeted at the business market. It features a number of key upgrades on the recently announced Pico 4 alongside a dedicated app store and enterprise OS.
Horizon Workrooms Sees Mega Update. The beta software is available on Quest 2 and Quest Pro, with this brand new update introducing the availability to have up to three displays in VR, multi-colour sticky notes and breakout rooms.
Unreal Engine 5.1 Includes Potential VR Rendering Upgrade. Preview builds of Unreal Engine 5.1 and 5.2 show that the key features Lumen and Nanite now support VR, with developers reporting staggering improvements in detail and realism.
Yat Siu claims Meta’s $10 Billion Metaverse Investment “Is Not Enough”. The statement was made by the co-founder of Animoca Brands as he took issue with the economic viability of Meta’s Metaverse plans, hinting that user incentivisation would require greater investment.

London Based ‘Flox’ raises £1 Million. The virtual events platform celebrated the raise as they look to drive greater technological development and push a publicity launch.
Stability AI achieve $101 Million raise. The organisation funds the development of open source music and image AI generators, with the controversial Stable Diffusion it’s biggest hit.
Viture achieve $10 Million Series A Funding Round. The tech start-up will look to begin mass production of its Virtue One XR glasses while increasing R&D in the portable entertainment field.
Delysium raises $10 Million in strategic funding round. The capital raised will go towards developing the Delysium AI open world, and the Delysium Multiverse - a web3 gaming decentralised publishing structure.

A VR Scent Machine is finally here. Researchers at the universities of Stockholm and Malmö have produced an “Olfactometer” which could pave the way for in demand smell-based game mechanics.
Paris Hilton’s “Cryptoween” Event Launches. In the third of her virtual Roblox parties, Paris steps into the Metaverse for a Halloween themed event concluding November 1st, in partnership with cosmetic brand Urban Decay.
Mastercard share plans for Crypto Program. The payment monolith has announced a partnership with the trading platform Paxos in a bid to support involvement from traditional banks.
Will Wright Plans Metaverse NFT Game. The legendary designer of the Sims and SimCity titles has returned to the industry for the first time since 2008 with VOXVerse, a project to build a blockchain based digital collectable game.
Interpol Launch Global Police Metaverse. In an announcement shared at the 90th Interpol General Assembly, the organisation will use the platform to offer immersive training to law enforcement alongside virtual tours of their Lyon, France based headquarters.
